has devoloped a new wave-energi-system called "The
Crestwing" which consist of
floating pontoon and differs from other floating devices on
market by the manner it utilizes the hydrodynamic powers.
An element very
decisive is the systems utilization of the overlying atmospheric
pressure on the relapsing pontoon, which is not depended of its
own weight. This allows an uncomplicated production of pontoons,
light of weight which
reduces the material costs.
The system is a
potential system as well as a hydrodynamic system. It

et al., 2008). The tests were carried out at Dept. of Civil
Engineering, Aalborg University (AAU) in the 3D deep water wave
tank.
